The Airline Vikings thwarted the host Natchitoches Central Chiefs football team by a count of 41-21 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Airline upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Vikings host Captain Shreve (Shreveport, LA) to encounter the Gators in a 5A District 1 outing on Friday, October 6. The Gators go into the outing with a record of 4-1. Captain Shreve won 28-15 in their recent league outing against Parkway (Bossier City, LA)

With the loss, Natchitoches Central moves to 2-3 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Benton (Benton, LA) to encounter the Tigers in a 5A District 1 outing on Friday, October 6. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 1-4. Benton lost 61-34 in their recent league outing against Byrd (Shreveport, LA)
