The Davenport Bulldogs thwarted the host Alex Longhorns football team by a count of 46-38 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Davenport upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Bulldogs host Summit Christian Academy (Broken Arrow, OK) to encounter the Eagles in a B District 8 (8 Man) outing on Thursday, October 12. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 1-5.
