The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Marion Swamp Foxes (Marion, SC) and the visiting Andrews Yellowjackets (Andrews, SC), observed Marion's football squad defeat Andrews by a count of 42-32.

The Swamp Foxes now own a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Kingstree for a AA Region 8 contest on Friday, October 6. Marion will encounter a Blazers squad coming off a 18-16 non-league loss to Lamar (Lamar, SC). The Blazers record now stands at 2-4.

Coming up next, the Yellowjackets encounter the Mullins Auctioneers (Mullins, SC) in a AA Region 8 contest, on Friday, October 6. Andrews will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Auctioneers go into the contest with a 0-6 record after their 46-14 league loss to Lee Central (Bishopville, SC).
