Washington High School Football - Lakewood felled by Archbishop Murphy

In Friday's league game, the Archbishop Murphy Wildcats (Everett, WA) football team were victorious over the visiting Lakewood Cougars (Arlington, WA), by a score of 31-7.

The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Lynden (Lynden, WA). The Lions come into the 2A Northwest game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Lynden knocked off Sehome (Bellingham, WA), 44-24, in a league game.

The Cougars now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Squalicum for a 2A Northwest game on Thursday, October 5. Lakewood will battle a Storm team coming off a 28-13 league win over Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA). The Storm record now stands at 1-2.
