The Ashville Bulldogs football team (Ashville, AL), was beaten 30-20 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Hayden Wildcats (Hayden, AL)
The Wildcats (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Jasper (Jasper, AL). The Vikings come into the 5A Region 5 challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Jasper was beaten by Lanier (Montgomery, AL), 47-30, in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fultondale for a 4A Region 6 challenge on Friday, October 6. Ashville will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 42-21 non-league loss to Corner (Warrior, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-4.
