Louisiana High School Football - Assumption trounces Morgan City

In Friday's league match, the visiting Assumption Mustangs football squad scored a big 49-14 victory over the Morgan City Tigers.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the South Lafourche Tarpons (Galliano, LA) in a 4A District 7 match, on Friday, October 6. Assumption will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Tarpons enter the match with a 3-2 record after their 42-0 league loss to Lutcher (Lutcher, LA).

The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA). The Terriers enter the 4A District 7 match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Vandebilt Catholic was crushed by St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA), 30-13, in a non-league match.
