The Astoria Fishermen football team (Astoria, OR), was tipped 36-29 in Friday's league challenge with the host St. Helens Lions (St. Helens, OR)
The Lions (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Tillamook (Tillamook, OR). The Cheesemakers come into the 4A Special District 1 challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Tillamook was tipped by Seaside (Seaside, OR), 41-35, in a league challenge.
The Fishermen now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts for a 4A Special District 1 challenge on Friday, October 6. Astoria will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 42-14 league loss to Scappoose (Scappoose, OR). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-3.
