In Friday's league game, the Barrington Eagles (Barrington, RI) football team knocked off the host Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI), by a final score of 24-0.
The Eagles (4-0) will now prepare for their game against South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI). The Rebels come into the Division II-B game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, South Kingstown toppled Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI), 10-6, in a league challenge.
The Thunderbolts now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Woonsocket for a Division II-B challenge on Friday, October 6. Cranston East will meet a Villa Novans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Central (Providence, RI). The Villa Novans record now stands at 3-1.
