The Bayard Tigers football team (Bayard, NE), was tipped 44-42 in Friday's league challenge with the host Hemingford Bobcats (Hemingford, NE)

The Bobcats (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Kimball (Kimball, NE). The Longhorns come into the D1 District 11 (8 Man) challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Kimball was tipped by Bridgeport (Bridgeport, NE), 68-17, in a league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Cambridge for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 6. Bayard will meet a Trojans team coming off a 38-22 league win over Alma (Alma, NE). The Trojans record now stands at 3-3.
