The Bloomfield Bobcats walloped the visiting Bayfield Wolverines football team by a count of 42-7 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Bloomfield upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Silver (Silver City, NM) to encounter the Fighting Colts in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 7. The Fighting Colts go into the outing with a record of 5-1. Silver won 29-7 in their recent non-league outing against Deming (Deming, NM)

With the loss, Bayfield moves to 0-5 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO) to encounter the Panthers in a 2A Intermountain outing on Friday, October 6. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 3-3. Montezuma-Cortez won 42-13 in their recent league outing against Salida (Salida, CO)
