The Bennett Clippers (Salisbury, MD) football edged the visiting Parkside Rams (Salisbury, MD), 22-21 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Clippers face the North Caroline Bulldogs (Ridgely, MD) in a Bayside 3A/2A bout, on Friday, October 6. Bennett will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 5-0 record after their 28-16 league win over Queen Anne's County (Centreville, MD).
The Rams (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Easton (Easton, MD). The Warriors enter the Bayside 3A/2A bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Easton was nudged by Decatur (Berlin, MD), 42-0, in a league bout.
