The Blackwell Maroons football team (Blackwell, OK), was ripped 50-6 in Friday's league challenge with the host Oklahoma Christian Saints (Edmond, OK)

The Saints (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Newkirk (Newkirk, OK). The Tigers come into the 2A District 1 challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Newkirk was ripped by Alva (Alva, OK), 34-6, in a league challenge.

The Maroons now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Alva for a 2A District 1 challenge on Friday, October 6. Blackwell will meet a Goldbugs team coming off a 34-6 league win over Newkirk (Newkirk, OK). The Goldbugs record now stands at 2-3.
