The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Bryan Vikings (Bryan, TX) and the visiting Copperas Cove Bulldawgs (Copperas Cove, TX), observed Bryan's football squad edge Copperas Cove by a count of 49-46.

The Vikings now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Weiss for a 6A Region II District 12 contest on Thursday, October 12.

Coming up next, the Bulldawgs encounter the Weiss Wolves (Pflugerville, TX) in a 6A Region II District 12 contest, on Friday, October 6.
