The Randolph-Henry Statesmen football team (Charlotte Court House, VA), was ripped 52-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Buckingham Knights (Buckingham, VA)

The Knights (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Nottoway (Nottoway, VA). The Cougars come into the James River challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Nottoway trounced Cumberland (Cumberland, VA), 48-24, in a league challenge.

The Statesmen now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lunenburg Central for a James River challenge on Friday, October 6. Randolph-Henry will meet a Chargers team coming off a 55-44 league win over Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 5-1.
