Indiana High School Football - Wheeler beat Calumet New Tech

The Wheeler Bearcats football squad scored 38 points and restricted the visiting Calumet New Tech Warriors to 8 in the Bearcats league victory on Friday.

The Bearcats now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whiting for a Greater South Shore - South battle on Friday, October 6. Wheeler will face a Oilers squad coming off a 56-7 non-league loss to Boone Grove (Valparaiso, IN). The Oilers record now stands at 2-5.

Coming up next, the Warriors face the Griffith Panthers (Griffith, IN) in a Greater South Shore - South battle, on Friday, October 6. Calumet New Tech will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 3-4 record after their 14-13 league loss to Gary West Side (Gary, IN).
