The Casa Grande Cougars walloped the host Desert View Jaguars football team by a count of 50-6 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Casa Grande upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Cougars host Cienega (Vail, AZ) to encounter the Bobcats in a 5A Southern outing on Friday, October 6. The Bobcats go into the outing with a record of 3-2. Cienega won 23-19 in their recent non-league outing against McClintock (Tempe, AZ)

With the loss, Desert View moves to 3-3 on the season. The Jaguars host Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ) to encounter the Colts in a 5A Southern outing on Friday, October 6. The Colts go into the outing with a record of 5-1. Buena lost 55-0 in their recent league outing against Marana (Tucson, AZ)
