The William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA) football nudged the visiting Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA), 14-12 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Terriers face the Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA) in a Blue Ridge bout, on Friday, October 6. William Byrd will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Colonels enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 42-21 non-league win over Halifax County (South Boston, VA).
