The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Cedar Creek Pirates (Egg Harbor City, NJ) and the host St. Joseph Wildcats (Hammonton, NJ), observed Cedar Creek's football squad bounce St. Joseph by a count of 39-0.

The Pirates now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Delsea for a West Jersey - Independence contest on Saturday, October 7. Cedar Creek will play a Crusaders squad coming off a 25-13 non-league win over Burlington Township (Burlington, NJ). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-1.

Coming up next, the Wildcats play the Ocean City Raiders (Ocean City, NJ) in a West Jersey - Independence contest, on Friday, October 6. St. Joseph will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 40-6 league loss to Winslow Township (Atco, NJ).
