In Friday's league match, the host Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades football squad scored a good 46-20 victory over the St. Mary's Cardinals.

In their next game, the Renegades clash with the Boyd County Spartans (Spencer, NE) in a D2 District 4 (8 Man) test, on Friday, October 6. Chambers/Wheeler Central will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 4-2 record after their 54-8 league win over Niobrara/Verdigre (Niobrara, NE).

With the loss, St. Mary's drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Ainsworth (Ainsworth, NE) to confront the Bulldogs in a D2 District 4 (8 Man) test on Friday, October 6. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 6-0. Ainsworth won 60-8 in their recent league test against Elgin/Pope John (Elgin, NE)
