In Friday's league game, the Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) football team were victorious over the host Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA), by a score of 49-21.
The Bulldogs (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Patriots come into the Jefferson game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Albemarle knocked off Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA), 45-24, in a league game.
The Black Knights now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monticello for a Jefferson game on Friday, October 6. Charlottesville will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 21-7 league loss to Louisa County (Mineral, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-2.
