Monroe Vikings (North Hills, CA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA), 13-10 in a league test.

With the triumph, Monroe improves its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to North Hollywood (North Hollywood, CA) to battle the Huskies in a East Valley test on Friday, October 6. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 2-3. North Hollywood lost 34-33 in their recent league test against Chavez (San Fernando, CA)

With the loss, Chavez drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA) to battle the Dons in a East Valley test on Friday, October 6. The Dons come into the test with a record of 4-3. Verdugo Hills won 17-14 in their recent league test against Grant (Van Nuys, CA)
