The Coleman Bluecats (Coleman, TX) football defeated the visiting San Saba Armadillos (San Saba, TX), 40-26 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Bluecats face the Tolar Rattlers (Tolar, TX) in a 2A-1 Region II District 5 bout, on Friday, October 6. Coleman will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Rattlers enter the bout with a 4-1 record after their 38-0 league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, TX).
