South Carolina High School Football - St. James can't get by Conway

September 29, 2023: Murrells Inlet, SC 29576

Conway Tigers (Conway, SC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC), 27-22 in a league test.

With the triumph, Conway improves its record to 1-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Carolina Forest (Myrtle Beach, SC) to confront the Panthers in a AAAAA Region 5 test on Friday, October 6. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 3-3. Carolina Forest won 42-20 in their recent non-league test against North Myrtle Beach (Little River, SC)

With the loss, St. James drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC) to confront the Braves in a AAAAA Region 5 test on Friday, October 6. The Braves come into the test with a record of 1-5. Socastee lost 36-6 in their recent league test against Sumter (Sumter, SC)
