The West Genesee Wildcats football team (Camillus, NY), was beaten 24-15 in Friday's league challenge with the host Corcoran Cougars (Syracuse, NY)

The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Henninger (Syracuse, NY). The Black Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Henninger was beaten by Whitesboro (Marcy, NY), 48-14, in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Auburn for a Section 3 A challenge on Thursday, October 5. West Genesee will meet a Maroons team coming off a 28-22 non-league loss to Rome Free Academy (Rome, NY). The Maroons record now stands at 3-2.
