California High School Football - Foothill trounces Corning

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Foothill Cougars football squad scored a big 46-13 victory over the Corning Cardinals.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Shasta Wolves (Redding, CA) in a Eastern match, on Friday, October 6. Foothill will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Wolves enter the match with a 4-1 record after their 34-8 non-league win over Foothill (Sacramento, CA).

The Cardinals (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Gridley (Gridley, CA). The Bulldogs enter the Butte View match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Gridley routed Riverbank (Riverbank, CA), 23-0, in a non-league match.
