In Friday's non-league game, the Mountain View Generals (Quicksburg, VA) football team were victorious over the host Craig County Rockets (New Castle, VA), by a score of 38-14.
The Generals (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA). The Caissons come into the non-league game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Fishburne Military was knocked off by St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA), 37-0, in a non-league game.
The Rockets now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Eastern Montgomery for a Pioneer game on Friday, October 6. Craig County will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 56-0 non-league loss to Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-4.
