    In Friday's league match, the host Crestwood Chargers football squad scored a close 37-36 victory over the Romulus Eagles.

    In their next game, the Chargers clash with the Robichaud Bulldogs (Dearborn Heights, MI) in a Western Wayne match, on Friday, October 6. Crestwood will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 4-2 record after their 24-14 league win over Thurston (Redford, MI).

    The Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Thurston (Redford, MI). The Eagles enter the Western Wayne match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Thurston was nudged by Robichaud (Dearborn Heights, MI), 24-14, in a league match.
