Virginia High School Football - East Rockingham defeats Rockbridge County

In Friday's league match, the host East Rockingham Eagles football squad scored a good 47-35 victory over the Rockbridge County Wildcats.

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA) in a Valley match, on Friday, October 6. East Rockingham will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Trailblazers enter the match with a 5-1 record after their 21-7 league win over Broadway (Broadway, VA).

The Wildcats (0-6) will now prepare for their match against Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA). The Blue Streaks enter the Valley match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Harrisonburg ran past Amherst County (Amherst, VA), 23-15, in a non-league match.
