North Carolina High School Football - Midway topples Fairmont

September 29, 2023: Dunn, NC 28366

The Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC) football defeated the visiting Fairmont Golden Tornadoes (Fairmont, NC), 50-22 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Raiders face the West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC) in a 2A Southeastern bout, on Friday, October 6. Midway will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 2-4 record after their 71-13 league loss to Clinton (Clinton, NC).

The Golden Tornadoes (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC). The Bulldogs enter the 2A Southeastern bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, St. Pauls defeated Red Springs (Red Springs, NC), 40-8, in a league bout.
