North Carolina High School Football - Monroe topples Forest Hills

September 29, 2023: Monroe, NC 28112

The Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC) football defeated the visiting Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC), 28-0 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Redhawks face the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a 2A/3A Rocky River bout, on Friday, October 6. Monroe will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Wolf Pack enter the bout with a 1-5 record after their 34-27 league loss to Anson (Wadesboro, NC).

The Yellow Jackets (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against West Stanly (Oakboro, NC). The Colts enter the 2A/3A Rocky River bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, West Stanly defeated Piedmont (Monroe, NC), 25-12, in a league bout.
