North Carolina High School Football - Garner sneaks past Willow Spring

September 29, 2023: Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526

The Garner Trojans (Garner, NC) football nudged the host Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 14-10 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs (Raleigh, NC) in a Greater Neuse River 4A bout, on Friday, October 6. Garner will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 3-3 record after their 13-6 league loss to Clayton (Clayton, NC).

The Storm (2-4) will now prepare for their bout against Cleveland (Clayton, NC). The Rams enter the Greater Neuse River 4A bout with a 6-0 record. In their last bout, Cleveland held off Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 47-0, in a league bout.
