The Rayville Hornets football team (Rayville, LA), was beaten 42-30 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting General Trass Panthers (Lake Providence, LA)

The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Ferriday (Ferriday, LA). The Trojans come into the 2A District 2 challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Ferriday achieved victory over Vidalia (Vidalia, LA), 34-6, in a league challenge.

The Hornets now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madison for a 2A District 2 challenge on Friday, October 6. Rayville will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 39-14 non-league loss to Abramson (New Orleans, LA). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-2.
