In Friday's league game, the Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) football team were victorious over the host George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA), by a score of 33-10.

The Saxons (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Wakefield (Arlington, VA). The Warriors come into the District 2 game with a 0-6 record. In their last game, Wakefield was knocked off by Westfield (Chantilly, VA), 45-7, in a non-league game.

The Statesmen now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Washington-Liberty for a District 2 game on Friday, October 6. George C. Marshall will meet a Generals team coming off a 38-37 league loss to Herndon (Herndon, VA). The Generals record now stands at 5-1.
