The Gholson football team (Waco, TX), was ripped 66-28 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Iredell Dragons (Iredell, TX)

The Dragons (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Morgan (Morgan, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Morgan was ripped by Walnut Springs (Walnut Springs, TX), 66-58, in a non-league challenge.

The now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coolidge for a 1A 6 Man 1 Region III District 12 (6 Man) challenge on Friday, October 6. Gholson will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 47-0 non-league win over Blum (Blum, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-2.
