In Friday's league game, the Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig]/Flasher Storm (Elgin, ND) football team knocked off the host Hettinger/Scranton Black Devils (Hettinger, ND), by a final score of 40-12.

The Storm (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Beach (Beach, ND). The Buccaneers come into the 9-Man Region 4 (9 Man) game with a 0-7 record. In their last game, Beach was dropped by Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter (Napoleon, ND), 28-14, in a league game.

The Black Devils now hold a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mott-Regent/New England for a 9-Man Region 4 (9 Man) game on Friday, October 6.
