    The Shepherd Bluejays football squad scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Harrison Hornets to 32 in the Bluejays league victory on Friday.

    The Bluejays now possess a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pinconning for a Jack Pine battle on Friday, October 6. Shepherd will face a Spartans squad coming off a 56-14 league loss to Gladwin (Gladwin, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 2-4.

    Coming up next, the Hornets face the Beaverton Beavers (Beaverton, MI) in a Jack Pine battle, on Friday, October 6. Harrison will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Beavers enter the battle with a 4-2 record after their 34-14 league win over Meridian (Sanford, MI).
