Texas High School Football - Hermleigh defeats Throckmorton

In Friday's non-league match, the host Hermleigh Cardinals football squad scored a good 42-22 victory over the Throckmorton Greyhounds.

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Roby Lions (Roby, TX) in a 1A 6 Man 1 Region II District 8 (6 Man) match, on Friday, October 6. Hermleigh will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 0-5 record after their 77-12 non-league loss to Benjamin (Benjamin, TX).

The Greyhounds (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Lueders-Avoca (Avoca, TX). The Raiders enter the 1A 6 Man 2 Region II District 7 (6 Man) match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Lueders-Avoca dropped by Rotan (Rotan, TX), 48-0, in a non-league match.
