The Herreid/Selby Wolverines (Herreid, SD) football routed the host Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD), 53-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Wolverines face the Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 6. Herreid/Selby will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Battlers enter the bout with a 2-4 record after their 66-25 league loss to Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD).
The Wildcats (0-7) will now prepare for their bout against Warner (Warner, SD). The Monarchs enter the Lake Region (9 Man) bout with a 6-0 record.
