Arizona High School Football - Red Mountain drops to Highland

In Friday's league game, the Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) football team knocked off the visiting Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ), by a final score of 25-15.

The Hawks (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ). The Black Hawks come into the 6A East Valley game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Williams Field toppled Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ), 36-23, in a league game.

The Mountain Lions now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to American Leadership Academy for a 6A East Valley game on Thursday, October 5. Red Mountain will battle a Patriots team coming off a 28-0 non-league win over Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ). The Patriots record now stands at 5-1.
