New York High School Football - Homer prevails Westhill

September 29, 2023: Syracuse, NY 13219

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Homer Trojans (Homer, NY) and the host Westhill Warriors (Syracuse, NY), observed Homer's football squad defeat Westhill by a count of 40-28.

The Trojans now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Indian River for a Section 3 B - West contest on Friday, October 6. Homer will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 54-7 league win over Institute of Tech (Syracuse, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 3-2.

Coming up next, the Warriors encounter the Jamesville-DeWitt Red Rams (DeWitt, NY) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 6. Westhill will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Red Rams go into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 26-0 non-league loss to Sherburne-Earlville (Sherburne, NY).
