    The Huron River Rats football team (Ann Arbor, MI), was ripped 43-7 in Friday's league challenge with the host Saline Hornets (Saline, MI)

    The Hornets (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln (Ypsilanti, MI). The Railsplitters come into the Southeastern - Red challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln was ripped by Bedford (Temperance, MI), 26-21, in a league challenge.

    The River Rats now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bedford for a Southeastern - Red outing on Friday, October 6. Huron will confront a Kicking Mules team coming off a 26-21 league win over Lincoln (Ypsilanti, MI). The Kicking Mules record now stands at 2-4.
