The Knoxville Blue Bullets (Knoxville, IL) football defeated the visiting Illini West Chargers (Carthage, IL), 42-12 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Blue Bullets face the Hamilton/Warsaw Titans (Hamilton, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 6. Knoxville will attempt to advance on its 6-0 season record. The Titans enter the bout with a 1-5 record after their 67-8 league win over Lewistown/Cuba/Spoon River Valley (Lewistown, IL).
