Texas High School Football - McCamey beat Lamesa

September 29, 2023: McCamey, TX 79752

The McCamey Badgers football squad scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Lamesa Tornadoes to 25 in the Badgers non-league victory on Friday.

The Badgers now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sterling City for a 2A-2 Region II District 5 battle on Friday, October 6. McCamey will play a Eagles squad coming off a 41-14 league win over Water Valley (Water Valley, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.

Coming up next, the Tornadoes play the Kermit Yellow Jackets (Kermit, TX) in a 3A-1 Region I District 1 battle, on Friday, October 6. Lamesa will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the battle with a 1-5 record after their 41-40 non-league loss to Reagan County (Big Lake, TX).
