Maryland High School Football - Potomac trounces Largo

September 29, 2023: Oxon Hill, MD 20745

In Friday's league match, the host Potomac Wolverines football squad scored a big 47-12 victory over the Largo Lions.

In their next game, the Wolverines clash with the Douglass Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD) in a Prince George's County 2A/1A match, on Friday, October 6. Potomac will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 4-1 record after their 14-0 league win over Fairmont Heights (Capitol Heights, MD).

The Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Crossland (Temple Hills, MD). The Cavaliers enter the Prince George's County 2A/1A match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Crossland was crushed by Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD), 47-8, in a league match.
