In Friday's league game, the Lutcher Bulldogs (Lutcher, LA) football team smashed the visiting South Lafourche Tarpons (Galliano, LA), by a final score of 42-0.

The Bulldogs (3-1) will now prepare for their game against South Terrebonne (Bourg, LA). The Gators come into the 4A District 7 game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, South Terrebonne overwhelmed A.J. Ellender (Houma, LA), 30-13, in a league game.

The Tarpons now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Assumption for a 4A District 7 game on Friday, October 6. South Lafourche will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 49-14 league win over Morgan City (Morgan City, LA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-2.
