The Matawan Regional Huskies (Aberdeen, NJ) football routed the visiting Pinelands Regional Wildcats (Tuckerton, NJ), 47-12 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Huskies face the Barnegat Bengals (Barnegat, NJ) in a Shore - Independence bout, on Friday, October 6. Matawan Regional will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record.
The Wildcats (4-1) will now prepare for their bout against Toms River South (Toms River, NJ). The Indians enter the non-league bout with a 4-1 record. In their last bout, Toms River South walloped Liberty (Jackson, NJ), 35-13, in a non-league bout.
