In Friday's league match, the host Messalonskee Eagles football squad scored a good 34-12 victory over the Skowhegan River Hawks.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Edward Little Red Eddies (Auburn, ME) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 6. Messalonskee will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record.
