In Friday's league game, the Miller Buccaneers (Corpus Christi, TX) football team knocked off the host Victoria East Titans (Victoria, TX), by a final score of 66-42.

The Buccaneers (5-0) will now prepare for their game against King (Corpus Christi, TX). The Mustangs come into the 5A-1 Region IV District 14 game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, King was dropped by Carroll (Corpus Christi, TX), 47-6, in a league game.

The Titans now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ray for a 5A-1 Region IV District 14 game on Thursday, October 5.
