The Sutherland Sailors football squad scored 64 points and restricted the host Morrill Lions to 12 in the Sailors non-league victory on Friday.

The Sailors now possess a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sandhills Valley for a D1 District 10 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, October 6. Sutherland will meet a Mavericks team coming off a 48-6 league loss to Perkins County (Grant, NE). The Mavericks record now stands at 0-6.
