In Friday's league match, the visiting Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets football squad scored a close 35-28 victory over the Wooster Generals.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the Madison Comprehensive Rams (Mansfield, OH) in a Ohio Cardinal match, on Friday, October 6. Mt.
